Rewarding excellence in Pharmacy at the University of Zambia

Every September, students with outstanding achievement at University of Zambia’s Department of Pharmacy are the proud recipients of the Shelys Pharmaceuticals annual awards trophies. This year awards will be presented to winning candidates for the years 2007/8 and 2008/9. Sponsored by Shelys since 2003, these awards are presented each year at the celebrations to mark the inception of the Department of Pharmacy at the university’s School of Medicine. The awards scheme was introduced to recognize excellence and five awards are presented in five subjects. Each award recipient is carefully selected by the Department of Pharmacy’s Head, Dr. Lungwani T.M. Muungo and is awarded a certificate of merit and an individual trophy as well as the inscription of their names in the subject ‘rolling’ trophy.
